Meet Dr. Jacobson
Dr. Jacobson is a board-certified dermatologist as well as a fellowship-trained and board-certified Mohs micrographic surgeon. Dr. Jacobson is an expert in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer including Mohs surgery, surgical excisions, and advanced facial reconstruction. Additionally, she practices medical and cosmetic dermatology and treats both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Jacobson is a Massachusetts native and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Human Biology from Brown University. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internship in at the University of Chicago and her dermatology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she received the Mutasim Humanitarian Award. Dr. Jacobson subsequently completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at Geisinger Medical Center. She has published journal articles and book chapters in the field of general dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. She enjoys training medical students, dermatology residents, Mohs surgery and plastic surgery fellows. She is an active member of the American Academy of the Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.
